Educational Qualification
For the position of School Teacher (Grades 1 to 5), candidates must possess a graduation degree with 50% marks along with a B.Ed, or a 10+2 qualification accompanied by a Diploma in Elementary Education; furthermore, passing Paper-I of the CTET/BTET is mandatory.
For Middle School Teachers (Grades 6 to 8), a graduation degree combined with a D.Ed or B.Ed is required. For PGTs (Grades 11-12), a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject, a B.Ed, and a pass in Paper-II of the STET are mandatory.
School Teacher (Class 1 to 5)
Candidates must have a Bachelor Degree with 50% marks and B.Ed OR other equivalent qualifications like 10+2 with Diploma in Elementary Education. They must also have qualified CTET Paper I or BTET Paper I.
Middle School Teacher (Class 6 to 8)
Graduate with 2-year D.Ed OR Graduate/Post Graduate with 50% marks and B.Ed (as per NCTE norms). Other equivalent qualifications are also accepted.
10+2 School Teacher (PGT) Class 11-12
Post Graduate in the related subject with 50% marks and B.Ed (or 45% as per old norms). Candidates must have passed STET Paper II.
