Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026)

The age limit has been prescribed differently for each post, as of July 1, 2026. The age criteria are set at 17.5 to 22 years for Agniveer GD/Technical/Tradesman/Assistant, 17.5 to 23 years for Soldier Technical, 19 to 25 years for Sepoy Pharma, and 25 to 34 years for JCO Religious Teacher (RT).

Vacancy Details and Eligibility Criteria

Here are the main posts, education qualification, and physical standards:

1. Agniveer General Duty (GD)

• Education: Class 10th with minimum 45% marks and at least 33% in each subject.
• Physical Standards (Group I – Male):
  • Height: 169 cm (Eastern Plains), 170 cm (Western Plains), 163 cm (Western Himalayan)
  • Chest: 77 cm + 5 cm expansion
  • Running: 1.6 Km in 5 min 30 sec
  • Pull Ups: 10 times
  • 9 Feet Ditch and Zigzag Balance: Must qualify

2. Agniveer Technical

• Education: 10+2 in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English) with 50% aggregate and 40% in each subject OR 10+2 + 1 Year ITI.
• Physical Standards: Same as Agniveer GD (Male).

3. Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical

• Education: 10+2 in any stream with 60% aggregate and 50% in each subject. Must have 50% in English and Maths/Accounts.
• Height: 162 cm (all regions)

4. Agniveer Tradesman (10th Pass)

• Education: Class 10th passed with minimum 33% in each subject.
• Physical Standards: Same as Agniveer GD.

5. Agniveer Tradesman (8th Pass)

• Education: Class 8th passed with minimum 33% in each subject.
• Physical Standards: Same as Agniveer GD.

6. Agniveer GD (Women Military Police)

• Education: Class 10th with 45% marks (33% in each subject). Driving license holders get preference.
• Physical Standards:
  • Height: 162 cm
  • Running: 1.6 Km in 7 min 30 sec
  • Long Jump: 10 feet
  • High Jump: 3 feet

7. Sepoy Pharma

• Education: 10+2 + D.Pharma (55% marks) and registered with Pharmacy Council OR B.Pharma (50% marks).
• Physical Standards: Same as Agniveer GD (Running: 1.6 Km in 6 min 15 sec).

8. Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant

• Education: 10+2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Botany-Zoology + English (50% aggregate, 40% in each).
• Height: 169 cm

9. JCO Religious Teacher (RT)

• Education: Different qualifications for Pandit, Granthi, Padre, Maulvi, and Buddhist candidates (Bachelor degree or equivalent religious qualification).
• Height: 160 cm (General), 157 cm (Gorkhas & Ladakhi).
