Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) conducted a Computer Based Test (CBT) for Group D Level-1 posts under CEN 08/2024. This recruitment process aims to fill various entry-level positions in the Indian Railways. Application Fee Details

The fee structure includes refunds for eligible candidates who appear in the CBT.

  • General/OBC: ₹500 (₹400 refunded after appearing)
  • SC/ST/EBC/Female/Transgender: ₹250 (full refund after appearing)
  • Payment Modes: Online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Card, or Mobile Wallet

Age Limit (as on July 1, 2025)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 36 years

Age relaxation applies as per government norms for reserved categories and other eligible groups.

Railway RRB Group D Exam Pattern

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the Group D Level 1 Recruitment Examination (CEN 08/2024). The exam consists of 100 questions for a total of 100 marks. The exam includes 25 questions (25 marks) from General Science, 25 questions (25 marks) from Mathematics, 30 questions (30 marks) from General Intelligence and Reasoning, and 20 questions (20 marks) from General Awareness and Current Affairs.

Each correct answer carries 1 mark, while each incorrect answer carries a 1/3 mark deduction. The exam duration is generally 90 minutes, with special accommodations for PwBD candidates. This exam tests basic knowledge and understanding of railway jobs.
